This is a version of the classic five card draw poker and each player is playing against the house. Each player starts by placing their bet in the ante box. Then everyone, including the croupier, is dealt five cards face down. With a shuffling machine the dealer uncovers the top card whilst with a manual shuffle the dealer uncovers the first card. Each player assesses their cards and if they think that they have a winning hand and can beat the croupier’s result then they will place double the initial bet on top of their cards in the raise box. If they think that their cards are not good enough they can either fold and lose the ante bet or if the player wants they can try and improve their hand by changing a card. The changing of card costs the equivalent of one ante bet. When all the players have taken their decision then the croupier uncovers all the house cards. If the house has an Ace/King or better players will win if they have a higher scoring hand and paid. If the house doesn’t have a qualifying hand then only antes and bonus bets will be paid. In addition to the normal wager the player is allowed to place a bonus bet at €1 per hand. The bonus bet will be paid out on certain hands even if the dealer does not qualify. Bonus bets are lost if the playeropts to change a card. The payout structure on Dragonara Poker is the following
