Punto Banco is a combination of the famous “chemin de fer” and “baccarat” and offers the player some of the best odds found in casino live games. The game is played with six decks of cards and cards are dealt by the croupier. The player bets either on player or banker. The aim of the game is to draw cards (a minimum of two and a maximum of three)and come as close to nine. Tens, picture cards and any total that adds up to ten is considered as a zero (termed baccarat). An Ace is a 1 and all other cards have the value that they show. All card values are added up together for the final result. Players are also offered the option of placing a wager on an ‘egalité’ result. This is an optional bet that may be placed in addition to the player or banker wager and is paid 8:1 if the result is a draw. In Punto Banco there is no optional draw, the croupier cards are drawn depending on the rules of the table of play.
